Theatre and Stage Acting Course

From breathing to the final performance — the complete course of classical actor training.

About the Theatre and Stage Craft course

This is the full classical actor training: breath, speech, movement, études, partner work and work on a role. The aim is not to «play a part» but to live truthfully on stage.

Études — short scene fragments — form the backbone of the programme. Students are on stage in almost every class, which is why group sizes are deliberately kept small.

The course ends with a full production: costumes, set, lighting and sound, in front of a live audience. It is both the final exam and the first serious stage credit in a portfolio.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to perform in the final play?

The production is part of the programme, but the size of the role is chosen according to the student's readiness — nobody is pushed into something they are not ready for.

How often are the classes?

Twice a week, 90 minutes each. Extra rehearsals are added while the production is being prepared.

I am preparing for a drama school exam — is this enough?

The course gives you the foundation and a repertoire. If you need individual coaching on a specific exam programme, that is arranged separately with the teacher.
