Dubbing, Voice and Speech Course

Clear speech and microphone work in the studio — for dubbing, commercials and audio projects.

About the Voice, Speech and Dubbing course

The voice is an actor's least trained and most quickly noticed instrument. The course has two halves: clear speech (breath, diction, tempo, stress) and studio work (dubbing, commercial voice-over).

Part of every block is spent at the microphone: catching a character's breath, lip-sync, carrying emotion with the voice alone. Recordings are played back and analysed together.

The dubbing and voice-over market keeps growing — animation, series, commercials, audiobooks. The course is a practical way into it.

Frequently asked questions

Is my voice right for dubbing?

There is no such thing as the «right» voice — there is a role for every timbre. What matters is control and diction, and both are trainable.

Do I need studio equipment?

No. Classes take place in the academy's studio with professional microphones.
