Improv Course

Staying free on stage without a script — the skill that makes the biggest difference at castings.

About the Improvisation course

Improvisation is the skill that makes the biggest difference at a casting: when a director throws in an unexpected instruction, the actor without a memorised text is the one who stands out.

Classes are built as games — the «yes, and…» principle, status games, building characters, group scenes. The fear of getting it wrong breaks in the first few weeks.

The course works on its own and as an addition to the main acting training; many students say it was improvisation that finally made them comfortable on stage.

Frequently asked questions

I have never been on stage — will it be too hard?

Quite the opposite. Improvisation is the gentlest possible start, because there is no text to memorise; everything is built on play.

The course is short — how much does it give?

Two months of steady practice changes reaction speed visibly. From there you can continue with the theatre or camera course.
