ArtMedia Acting Academy is based in Baku and offers professional acting training for children, teenagers and adults. Classes run in five directions: on-camera acting, theatre and stage craft, improvisation, voice, speech and dubbing, plus a dedicated kids group.
Groups are kept small so that every student gets on stage in every class. The programme moves through breathing and diction, physical freedom, études, partner work and character work. At the end of the course the group performs a fully staged play for an audience — with costumes, set, lighting and sound.
The academy is also a casting platform: student and graduate profiles are collected in our actor database and presented to directors looking for actors for films, TV series and commercials. More than a thousand students have trained with us and over three hundred casting submissions have been made.

Frequently asked questions
I have no acting experience — can I still join?
Yes. Most of our students start from zero. The beginner groups are designed precisely for people with no experience — from the very first class you move forward step by step.
Is there an age limit?
The kids group is for ages 7–13. Teen and adult groups start at 14 (the theatre and dubbing courses at 16). There is no upper limit — we have students over 40 in our groups too.
How often are classes held?
Usually 2 classes a week. Class length depends on the course: 60 minutes in the kids group, 90 minutes in the theatre course and up to 2 hours in the other adult groups. Evening and weekend groups are available to fit around your work and studies.
Will I be able to go to castings after the course?
Yes. Students who complete the course join the actor database on our site and can apply directly to new casting calls. This is ArtMedia's key advantage once the academy is behind you.
Is there a trial class?
Yes — before joining a group you can attend one trial class. Fill in the application form and our team will get in touch to arrange a date that suits you.
How much does the course cost?
The price depends on the programme and schedule you choose. Fill in the application form and we will contact you with the exact price and any current discounts.
Do you issue a certificate?
Students who complete the full course and present their final work receive an ArtMedia certificate.
What language are classes taught in?
Classes are taught in Azerbaijani. Explanations in Turkish and Russian are given whenever they are needed.
